I was wondering can anybody help. I was sent to have a CT scan after an x-ray picked up a lump in my lung. I had the scan on Tuesday gone and was wondering how long I will wait for results. this may sound daft, but I'm not quite sure as to who requested the scan. my Dr sent me for the x-ray, but I was admitted to hospital a few days after x-ray, with a suspected blood clot, and was given a VQ scan to determine the clot, which was negative.  As I am unaware as to who requested CT. I'm on tenderhooks waiting for my phone to ring. how long will this take. I'm presuming if it's anything sinister they will notify me sooner rather than later?
