Mutiple swollen lymph nodes felt throughout body. Worried!

Hello I am a 25 year old women and a mum to  young daughter and also 10 weeks pregnant.

I firstly found three pea sized lumps on the back of my neck about 3 years ago, got them checked by GP he gave them the all clear just wollen lymph nodes nothing to worry about.

I have a be had a busy few years and I think must have forgot about them. Fell pregnant and have been feeling great just the odd day of morning sickness and normally tiredness.

monday I was found the lumps again and had a quick google (I know, I know!) this made me check other areas I found two more in my neck one each side and one under right armpit.

Saw GP who said unlikely to be anything but will reffer me for a ultrasound as they have been there for so long. He didn’t take blood as he is waiting for my midwife to do this on Tuesday.

Fast forward to today I have now found one above each collar bone and one right side of groin. I am now really panicking. They are all pea sized smooth and move easily. I am feeling well in myself so can’t put it down to infection. My mind is in overdrive. Convinced it is the worst.

I suppose really I am looking for some support while waiting for my scan date and bloods to be taken. Any positive stories? Internet is full of the worst cases.

Thank you for reading xx

  • Hi Yellowcracket,

I can completely understand your concern, but try not to panic. The important thing is that are keeping an eye on these lumps and you have seen your GP. As you know, Google is not the best place for accurate information. So if you need further advise before your ultrasound, you can contact the Cancer Chat nurses on 0808 800 4040 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

I hope this helps and all the best for your ultrasound.

  • Did you find out what was wrong? Currently going through the same thing and it’s really affecting my mental health :(

  • Hey!

for what it's worth I'm going through it and I've been told it's all normal and reactive and because I'm "skinny" I'm just average maybe slightly under but definitely not skinny.

its ruining my mental health, I'm at home with my 17 month old and my fiancé is an emergency service in London so this coronavirus is not helping with my worry it's actually lymphoma or something but doctors don't think so!

waiting for most recent bloods and throat swab but they aren't bothered lol x
