Not out of the woods yet

my daughter got a call today from gp to say her initial blood test results came back clear ️ ️ But he said they are not out of the woods yet, still waiting on ct scan results and bone marrow biopsy next Wednesday. I’m not sure what this means ....... I thought a clear blood test would mean she doesn’t have cancer (suspected non Hodgkin lymphoma). Does anyone have any thoughts on this ? Thank you

    I am pleased to hear that your daughter's blood test results have come back clear. I hope you will get to talk to others here who have been through the same tests and that they will be able to tell you more about this. You are also welcome to ring our nurses on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Keeping everything crossed for her CT scan results and the bone marrow biopsy results. I hope you will get a definite diagnosis soon - do keep us updated if you can when you find out more.
