Lump in neck and groin.

Hey

I have been having night sweats and fatigue. I found a lump in my neck size of a large raisin and a lump in groin size of a grape what feel like swollen lymph nodes. I've also got a pain in the upper left of my chest when exerting and breathing, it is in an exact spot so unlikely to be chest infection. All been there for around 6 weeks.

I had blood tests which showed low something, and i think she said it shows reduced liver and kidney function, something to do creatinine.

I've got a scan on the 30th of this month and I'm so scared. I have a 3yr old daughter and my anxiety is making me think worst case scenario. Scared that its Hodgkins Lymphoma. I'm barely sleeping for fear.

Anyone had the same? What was the outcome?

    Hi Beckah I'm so sorry your going through all this stress with young children.i am not exactly in the same position as you regarding your health but I am due to have pelvic scans this Friday and I am to struggling with sleeping due to the fear of the unknown and also have young children . I didn't want to leave the post as I absolutely know how your feeling. Try and stay positive (hard I know) but phone 111 if you need someone to talk to. I did on Saturday morning as I was at my lowest. Spoke to a lovely lady for over an hour and she made me snap out if the fear for a while.

    Talking about your blood tests mine too came back low creatine but high LFT .doctor didn't seem worried he said creatine can be low if your slim. And my bloods were retested and now fine.

    I'm sure someone will be in touch that has been down the same path as you shortly.

    I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. Is everything okay? 
     

    my boyfriend is going through something similar. He has suffered badly with night sweats for a long time now and had small lumps on his neck. On Friday he noticed a golf sized lump on the front of his neck, slightly towards one side. He called the doctors and they said it is suspected cancer and sent him for an ENT next week. He also has lumps on his groin. I am petrified and I feel physically sick over it all. After reading online it sounds like he has lymphoma cancer as he has the symptoms but I dont know what I would do if he did. My world would end. How did your appointment turn out?  I know I have to be strong for him but I feel so overwhelmed and sick from it all.
