Try not to worry too much. You have had your testicles checked by a GP a few weeks ago so you can be reassured that everything felt fine. If you are still anxious about it all, next time you see your GP you could ask whether it is normal for one testicle to feel harder than the other and for one to be bigger than the other.

It does sound like your doctor did a proper examination but if you still feel you have questions, you are perfectly entitled to give them a quick call or get a second opinion to put your mind at rest.

UPDATE: I went to the doctor last week and he did an examination and said everything felt OK but thought I should take some antibiotics in case of an infection.He also suggested i should book a GP appointment for a week after the antibiotics for further examination and possibly a scan. I’ve been on Ciprofloxacin (it’s horrible) for a week and there has been no effect on the swelling so it may not be an infection. Still kind of confused as to why it’s still larger and firmer than the other testicle...

  My Case is also similar. i have a swollen testicle. but that swelling goes away when i use ice pack or when i lie down. Doc examined and he din find any lumps. so he said it could be varicocele. I have a follow up appointment next week in case if my pain is getting worse.  as of now i am not experiencing any pain and its much better than last week. 

May be you should visit gp again and check for varicocele as well

Any news? I'm very similar both my testicles are the same size no lumps no swallowing no dull ache but sometimes my left feels harder than the other ...my thats because I don't stop crushing it
