Sensitive testicles

Hi,

Just hoping some people could give me their view on my situation. Basically I’ve got some very minor aches around my groin/abdomen and slightly sensitive testicles. No pain whatsoever, it’s not even an ache, it’s just what feels like muscle twinges. And the testicles are completely normal to touch, there is just this slightly odd feeling in them. 99% of the time I can’t feel a thing, but every so often I just get a reminder it’s still there. I don’t have any lumps and I was checked by the doctor a couple of weeks ago who confirmed that. However this tenderness doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. I’m 31 and there is a case of testicular cancer in my family before which is why I’m very wary of it.

Hi Terence and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry for the reason you've joined us but I'm glad you went to the doctor to get yourself checked. As it's been a few weeks since you went to your doctor and the tenderness is still there you could always go back to let know them and see what they say.
It's always good to be safe in situations like these, plus it will help to put your mind at ease so do book in with them when you can.
Hopefully some of our members who have had similar symptoms will share their advice and experiences with you soon.

Thanks for your reply Steph. I will go back to the doctor to put my mind at rest.

i just wondered is it possible to testicular cancer without having a lump? I’m almost certain I haven’t got a lump and my doctor has examined me and said the same. But I do have some of the other symptoms. Could the lump be hidden enough to not be found by human examination?

As it's been just over two years since Terrence posted on the forum you may not find out what happened but if you're worried about your symptoms it's always best to get them checked out by your doctor as they are the only ones who can tell you whether they are any cause for concern.
