Non reactive lymph node ? good sign ?

Has any one else has non reactive lymph nodes swollen ? They are measuring 1.2cm to 1.8cm  he has around 12 in his neck and head , the sonographer told us not to worry but what do you do ? Worry lol , I know I shouldnt Google but I have and can't find anything on non reactive swollen nodes ? Any one else had anything similar ? Scan results should be back by Monday but waiting is terrible x

  • I noticed no-one had replied to your post yet MrsT123 so I just wanted to stop by and let you know you're not alone.

    Many of our members have posted about swollen lymph nodes - you can have a look at these by using the 'search forum' option in the blue bar above - and know how difficult the wait for results can be so hopefully some of them will reply soon to offer their support and share their experiences with you.

    As much as Dr.Google tries to help he isn't medically trained and most of the time ends up causing more worry so try not to consult him anymore.

    Monday isn't far away now so try and stay busy if you can and the wait will finally be over. 

    I'll be thinking of you both on Monday and will have my fingers crossed for good news.

    Hi,

    Hope all is well. Did you find out further information? I've been told the same, non-reactive lymph node and awaitign a biopsy now but can't find any information regarding a non-reactive node.

    Any insight would be appreciated!

    No sorry they eventually went down and haven't come back , it was a very worrying time but thankfully it wasn't Cancer , hope yours was okay too x
