Burning breast pain and pain in abdomen.

In late 2016 I found a lump in my left breast and went to the GP. I went to a private hospital and there were actually 3 lumps found but I had a mammogram and was told everything was ok and it was not cancer. Since then I have had burning pain in my chest emanating from the underside of my breast. I have been to A&E and GP on and off such is the pain, diagnosed with costochondritis 4 times and given anti-inflammatories. I now have pain in the right side of my abdomen too by my belly button.  I have a thyroid problem but I feel more achey than normal. My husband is coming to the drs with me on Thursday because he thinks I’m being fobbed off. I’m really worried x Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Any update on your issue. I know it's been a while but I've got the same problem, got fobbed off with "urine infection" "kidney infection" with my stomach pain now my right breast is burning as if it's being set on fire. I have a lump in my right breast and I'm at breast clinic end of the month... the lump has gotten bigger & is now visible along with a lump under my right armpit.

  • Hi nik

I've been having stomach problems since I had my 6th and final baby 6months ago, I had a c section and was sterilised at the same time since then I've pain on and off, i was initially told I'd had a section so I would be having pain and I needed to live with it even though this was my 4th c section so I new what to expect this time it was different and I new something was wrong. I was then told I had a uti twice, then a kidney Infection. Then I was tested for sti's even though I'd just had a baby a couple of months prior and had multiple blood tests which they do check for some sti's and I've had the same partner for years, which all came back clear. I eventually registered with another doctors who took me seriously and sent me for an abdominal ultrasound, they found I had a large collection of free flowing fluid whatever that means lol behind my section scar and going up Into my womb. Ive been bleeding in between periods and a couple of times after sex, my periods are heavier and alot more painful. I've put alot of weight on and no matter what I do I cannot loose this weight. I've been referred to gynae but because of covid my first appointment was telephone and I'm now having to wait to go in but since then I've developed pain around my left breast, going Into my armpit, sometimes around my chest area also, I have an enlarged lymph node in my neck, I've been referred to the breast clinic on a 2week referral. All these problems have arisen since my last pregnancy, since I had my baby I've just felt generally unwell and it feels like there's been one thing after another. I haven't told anyone about my referral not even my partner, if its bad news then ill tell people but I don't want to worry anyone without knowing the facts. I can't offer you any possible diagnosis  as I'm not medically trained but I can offer you support and tell you that I'm sure you will be fine and this will turn out to be nothing. I no its easier said then done but try not to worry, stay away from Google that will only lead to sleepless nights and plenty of worry. I'm always here if you need to talk

  • Hey I was wondering if you got any diagnosis in the end?
ive been suffering with stomach pain for about two years, been told I have free fluid in my pelvis which "may be normal" but because of covid im having to my. I also have VERY painful breasts, especially right breast. It's also very lumpy and hard and bigger that the other, so I've been given a refurral to the breast clinic! I'm so worried though xx
