I am sorry to hear you have had this pain in your throat whenever you yawn. It's good news that the doctors ordered some tests and that the results have come back fine. If the pain is persisting though, I think it might be worth going back to the doctor's or asking to see a different doctor just to get a second opinion and asking whether there is anything they can advise or suggest to ease this pain. Make sure you mention you have had this pain since September.

Let us know how you get on if you can after you have seen the doctor. I hope it all goes well and that this discomfort when yawning goes away soon.

Hi I've had testicular cancer in 2009 and was cleared of it. The last week I've started getting a pain in my throat when I yawn. Should I consult a doctor if I can get an appointment ? Thanks

I've had various tests for this over the last 3 years. Gastroscopy and nasenoscopy. Nothing major found. 

I've pushed and pushed for a thyroid scan and at last I'm in the system. I'd say its worth going back to go.
