Thickened endometrium 23mm

Good evening,

I am new hear, concerned and confused as to what is happening with my body.

I had an Appointment with doc for routine smear 19/12/18 talked about feeling poorly, gushes of blood and clots, Shortness of breath, dizziness.

Doctor took a blood test, and within 1 1/2 hours of leaving doctor she called to send me to hospital for an emergency blood transfusion as blood test came back to show Hb levels of 6.7, severely anaemic.

3 unit blood transfusion, 2days 1night admittance. At discharge I was 9.9Hb. I have had ferrous fumarate prescribed and had first dose of zoladex and two further doses are prescribed.

I also have 3 months of Tibolone.

Time of admission bleeding stopped. At speculum the cervix appeared healthy but was unable to pass a pipelle for endometrial sampling. Spotting pain leaving.

The pelvic ultrasound showed a bulky retroverted uterus with multiple large fibroids and a thickened endometrium of 23mm.

Next appointment 25/02/19

I have made an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow as I have deep pains in my lower abdomen and shortness of breath has returned. I’m also finding myself sleeping a lot, slightest movement and I’m out of breath.

Can anyone relate to symptoms I have or can explain if I should be worried.

Endometrium thickness is worrying me so much as it is so much thicker than it should be.
