I am wanting a little bit of advice. I have recently past few months been getting issues with my periods which have been spotting and irregular. . I had blood test done and they show I have PCOS. I've been getting alot of the symptoms for this. So I have been referred for a ultrasound. Which I attended yesterday. So I'm there and he's doing the ultrasound taking a few pictures of my lower stomach, and then he said he needs to do an internal ultrasound whilst I was there. So I said is this because you have seen something? And he replied yes, and he will tell me afterwards. So I'm there having the internal one and all seems abit awkward and quiet. Took a while as he was taking lots of images. So, then he asks me if I've ever had surgery before? And I reply no, so then my mind starts to go on over drive by this point thinking what the hell is wrong with me! He then finished, but wouldn't tell me anything. I'm very worried now Incase there is more than PCOS. Does anyone have same experiences when being tested? Or is it just me?

Hi, I had same problem for years pain in side down legs and they were keep telling me it was Ibs. Until I couldn't stand it any longer and seen a doctor and he done c125 test and it come back abnormal and told I it could be cancer . If turned out I had a cyst on my ovarie ( left ) but getting pain in right side too ,I had operation and I was also cancer free . Keep pushing for answers 

I have been referred for a 2 week Gynae appt. It came through today for the 8th November. Apparently my cervix looks inflamed?? Absolutely bricking it as my husband died from bowel cancer 18 months ago. My babies can't watch the same thing happen to me, it was horrific!

I was just wondering how you got on? I had my appt on the 23rd and he has stated rhe same thing and got my referral the next morning for 12th Jan... really scared.

I have been refered to the suspected cancer clinic, they found a cyst on my left ovary and a polyp in my Uterus, I've had to chase my appointment as it's been 10 days now and still not heard anything. So when I got though the lady at the gynaecolgist dept said they had rejected my referal and have gone back to my doctors and said that I need to have the polyp removed urgently, has this happened to anyone else here or have you seen the gynaecolgist first? I'm so worried, thank you
