Hi, just wondered if anyone had any updates of what their results were?
I have been told my lining is 18mm which I know is on the larger side, been put on a 2 week wait referral to have a sample taken.
I'm quite worried would love to hear your updates, good or bad, as would be nice to know what to expect. I'm 31 with 2 children, one which we used clomid to conceive, which can increase your chances of cancer
Hi
I'm 54 and waiting to go in to hospital
My lining is 17.5 and I know possibility of cance but hoping and praying not.
I was fast track.
Had internal vagina scan that show 17.5 thickness ovarian cysts .
Went to see gynaecology man who did a internal scan who told me I have loads of polyps and ovarian cyst.
They go up thro your uterus to look around.not a to bad experience .
Good luck
Hi can I ask what symptoms you had as well as the increased thickness in your lining ?
I would be interested in everyones symptoms too. Im 46yrs old was sterilised in 2019 with Filshie clips. For a long time now the pain is there most days to some degree, its usually a deep ache but can also come in sharp stabbing waves which makes me nauseous and where i can barely stand/walk. Its into my hip down into my groin. Deep/heavy ache in pelvis into my lower back (have had back ache for a long time though so coincidence?) Im peeing more and nearly always constipated. My cycles are getting longer and this month i didnt have a period so ? Peri-menopausal? Due to the ongoing pain my GP sent me for an ultrasound on Tuesday. On Wednesday my practice rang to say the results were 'borderline' ive checked my results online and the main thing i see is 'endometrial thickness of '11mm' so obviously googled it and this thread came up! The thing thats worrying me slightly is my recent smear also showed im HPV positive? I now have to wait till the 10th June to have a telephone call with my GP to discuss it but wondering what would the next step be?
Hi
Had my scan and biopsy on 16/06/2021. Was told that I had a lump plus lining was 22mm and I was being fast tracked. I was told I had a 1 in 10 chance it was not cancer but realistically the biospy results would indicate what grade of cancer I have opposed to if I actually have it. My worry is that I have been told the biopsy result would take 10-12 days to come through... is this normal?
Thinking of you all.
Endometrial thickness of 18mm and Irregular
Hi just Googled and came across this thread. I had a 10 week long heavy bleed with clots, and unable to leave the house due to the heaviness of it, became unwell so contacted Gp. Eventually sent for a ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound on a 2 week referral.
Results were Endometrial thickness 18mm and Irregular echotexture. And small cysts on both ovaries. Gp has told me not to worry, and I'm being referred to Gynaecologist, but i can't help but wonder what the outcome will be. Just hoping it's not sinister. I'm 42 and believe im perimenopausal.
This group appears to be very supportive and encouraging.

Hello.
I'm just wondering if you have heard anything from your results and how you are.
I have 15mm thickness at the "fundal aspect" and also I have a bulky uterus.
I'm premenapause, but my last real period was in Sep 2020, which made my 3rd period of the year of 2020 with 3/4 month gaps.
The 8 months of nothing had casued alarms which my GP shunned as weight related as I have gained a lot and considered obese now.
Then June 19th 2021 I began to spot. Thought I was going to start a period, but in the end it stopped after 3 days :(
26th June startedsbleeding and that lasted 15 days (I still don't know if that was a period) But my endometrium is 15mm thick. I have a fibroid and both ovaries are polycystic.
I have reached out to my GP to dicuss things, but they are so unhelpful. I have to wait for my gyno appointment which is nerve wrecking.
Hope everyone is well xx
Hi I'm 57 in menopause been spotting since ChristmasI.got sent urgent gyny appointment.he did smear, vaginal ultra sound said abnormal thickening 12.5mm.took biopsy.been waiting 2 weeks results.got appointment for m.r.i which I had yesterday.should I be scared .x
I was told that I had an endometrial thickness of 20mm and the biopsy has come back cancer but its very early early stages so easily fixed with surgery hysterectomy but also have Vulva cancer and a cancerous mass on my lymph nodes. So totally unworried about the endrometrial cancer. As yes thick 20mm and it is cancer but very very early stages so easily sorted and fixed so I am hoping all of yours comes back non cancerous
It's so helpful to read about all the experiences of you ladies. Thinking of you all, it's a worrying time. I'm 54 and had a heavy post menopausal bleed 10 weeks ago. Nothing before or since. It's been a long wait to be seen despite being fast tracked. Ultrasound showed womb lining thickening of 9mm. Wasn't expecting it but had to have a biopsy today. I'm very worried about the results which will be within 2 weeks. The biopsy itself was fine and not painful at all. Very light cramping afterwards and no bleeding. I hope not to have to have more tests but I'm thinking it may be just as well to be very sure. They do the biopsy blind so surely something can be missed without hysteroscopy??
