Hi,I have been suffering from on and off night sweats for some time now and just put it down to being a sweaty person/getting a little stressed. A couple of months ago I realised I had a swollen nose/gland in my groin and had developed an itchy patch of skin on my leg. I was given cream for the itch which subsided, the lymph node went down but then about a week ago the lump came back up and the night sweats started again.
i have since given a blood test and should get the results back today and have been referred for a biopsy of the node in my groin.
Im a young, otherwise healthy, 25year old man who has recently just moved into a home and is expecting his first child in the coming weeks.
Over the last few days I have become increasingly anxious and uncertain about what may lie ahead. Against better judgement I have been googling all day and night convincing myself I have one thing then another. I know deep down that if I do have cancer I have no option but to do whatever it takes to fight it but that is not helping the feeling of anxiety and dread that I just can’t seem to shake.
Does anyone have any tips on how to stay calm while awaiting results/tests?
