filgrastim bone pain

Just curious if anyone has experienced pain due to filgrastim injections. Currently got them and wondering what's best for it?.

  • Hi there,

So sorry for you , i am round 4 and the injections are awful, the pain in my body makes me cry and so very weak, each chemo session i say i cant do anymore but you can...each bad day is a step closer to recovery is what i tell myself! You got this, take the painkillers and loritadine regularly and you will get through this.

Sending you lots of love and healing hugs.

  • Glad I came across this forum… I did my 8th injection today (last one after the first cycle of chemo) and having had only some mild aches in my thigh bones and knees throughout the week I now find myself gasping for air since the pain started in earnest this evening. Excruciating and very debilitating. Can’t move much at all for the pain in lower back and hips, shooting down my legs.

Chemo emergency line okayed me taking one-off Cocodamol, I’m praying it would work so I can get some sleep.

I see posts about antyhistamines helping with Filgrastim, would appreciate any tips on that.
