I’m 4+ years post menopause on HRT. Out of the blue I had a heavy bleed 2months ago, which has off and on (mainly on) kept going for past 2 months. My GP referred me for a scan which showed a thickened uterus. Saw consultant this week who said I needed a D&C and hysteroscopy under general next week. Bleeding heavily and cramping and sacred. And my youngest daughter leaves home in 2days #emptynest.
