Hi

i had a MRI as waiting for a major spine operation, and they found a cyst on my left ovary, I have allso had a scan  on my ovaries now and was told needed  to see a gynaecologist , my scan my GP said looks sinister!!! And I need a 2 week urgent appointment with a gynaecologist , my bloods were fine .

my appointment is 16 October such along time it seems !!

It feels like such a long wait. I hope it goes OK for you ! I saw my gp 5 days ago and I was told I was being referred for an urgent scan. I called today to check it was sent and it hasn't been. So upset as the waiting is so hard. Keep in touch and let me know how you get on x 

Hey, I have had IBS since I was 17... so I have the bloated tummy pains and tender tummy and craps ect.... I was thinking all sorts and my mind was racing with worry. Your doing the right thing keeping busy though, I know your bound to worry it's only normal but keep thinking it could be something simple and can be sorted easily. Let me know how your scan goes x

I have had to chase doctors as well.

my scan results went to the A"E in the hospital so I had to get them back to GP, as the receptionist would not do it !!

I have googled to much and I have a lot on the list .

The two weeks could be a massive worry for nothing , either way I won't my cysts and ovaries removed , I am 56 don't need them and not going through this worry again.

Hi I'm wondering this also. I had a scan 18 months ago due to really heavy periods and all was fine. 
I had a scan 3 weeks ago because my problem is getting worse, bloating and backache. 
The Gp rang to say I had PCOS and I needed a hormone test which I did last Monday. 
I never heard anything back so presumed all was well. I rang the Gp for some cream and she said I'm really sorry but the other GP requested a CA125 ovarian cancer blood test and it's been missed I'm so sorry and she booked me in for the next day (yesterday) nobody mentioned cancer to me so now I'm stressing out! I'm 37 with 2 children, she also requested I do a stool sample. 
I asked for a copy of my scan report and it says my left ovary is enlarged and bulky. It's 13cc the average size overt is 5-6 I can't help but think something is wrong.

im in a similar boat and the waiting has been horrendous and I have not waited long at all. I have had extrame intermittent right sided flank and side pain with urainary urgency and I was convinced it was kidney stones. My Gp sent me for an ultrasound of my kidneys but they were clear however commented on bloating obstructing the view. I had a range of further test inc stool samples and blood test including CA125 which was 46 all other test where fine, no ibs etc. Although my CA125 was raised but not high because of my urinary symptoms I still got an urgent fast track referral and I'm due to see the gynaecologist next Tuesday. I also had the mirena coil fitted after my second child 3.5 years ago which reduces CA125 so the fact mine is raised has really worried me. My pain is so odd also ie I claimed snowdonia and had no pain at all however I could be walking round the house and feel like I have been stabbed and had to be looked after by my partner because I couldn't get out of bed. Pain relief doesn't touch it either I take prescribed codine and naproxen. I am 32 so I'm young for ovarian cancer however my paternal Aunty had it at 34. I can't help but feel I have the big C and it's terrifying 

How did you get on? This story is exactly me and I'm worried to death 

Hi, I am 39yrs old and have had a bloated abdomen issues and pain for last 2 years. I have had 3 kids since 2015 and they were emergency C-section so I just put it down to that. I finally went doctors last week and my blood test results showed raised CA125 too. Also low ferritin. I'm so scared I have 3 young children aged 6, 4 and 2years old. My mother passed away at 43yrs old from ovarian cancer. She had a hysterectomy and still didn't survive. I'm due to go for a scan today. Please keep me in your prayers. 

I've also got 3 little ones and this is my worst nightmare. Im so scared. I don't want to leave them
