I have had a bloated stomach, pelvic and abdomen pains, bowel issues and a need to urinate frequently. All these have got worse for over a year. I have had real trouble getting my doctor to believe me, he just says it's food related . Eventually I was given an ultrasound, 2 months apart. The first showed a lump on my right ovary and the second one showed that I then had some both sides, a CT scan also confirmed ' ovarian issues' with the consultant saying I have lumps on both sides. I then, because I asked , had a Ca125 which was elevated.
I have had a battle with my GP constantly who hasn't taken me seriously. I went to see the gynaecologist today who said that my notes from the doctor only said I had a cyst , there was no mention of bloating or what the CT scan said. I am now experiencing pain in my bones and I'm absolutely exhausted constantly. The gynaecologist was very dismissive of me and didn't mention my Ca125 at all.
I am worried sick. I don't know where else to turn. The doctor and consultant has me completely doubting myself. How can I get them to take me seriously.? Please help. I know there is something wrong. No one is bloated for over 12 months with just a 2.5cm cyst which is what the only report from the doctor said , which was my first ultrasound.
