When my mother was dying of pancreatic cancer, my brother was her carer. His neck came up in a number of fairly large lumps. 

All down to the stress of caring. Neck lumps are not always sinister but should be checked out.

Don't be afraid of visiting your doctor. Fear of a thing is always worse than the thing itself, no matter how severe the thing.

That's philosophical that is.

lumps in the body can be many things and although I am now 3.5 post treatment for a head and neck cancer I sometimes forget that I am still human and as such, like everyone else, my body will keep on going producing lumps and bumps

however such lumps and bumps should go in time and if not it best to get them checked out and even then they could be many things other than what this site is set up for.

We are not medically trained here just people who have gone through the cancer process, so we are here to help you through the process.

Al though you doctor has said ‘give it a month’ don’t feel that you cannot go back earlier if this is really concerning you.

my advice to you at this point in time is to try and stay off Dr google, try and keep yourself busy, it will distract you from what you are going through and come and chat to us anytime you want
