Hi everyone, my name is Aimie, I am 30 and I have been having a lot of worrying symptoms.

These are: bleeding/discharge of various colours and consistency from watery pink to brown and back to red every day for the last 42 days after missing a period, incontinence (I have wet my bed twice in 6 months), constant need to urinate, pain in lower abdomen ranges from dull period type ache to chronic pains that last 20 to 30 mins, lower back ache (again similar to period pain) I went to my doctor 5 days ago and he did quick UTI and pregnancy tests, both of which came back negative. I have been given Cerezette (progestogen only contraceptive pill) as it may help if I have PCOS as the doctor says he thinks that's what it could be but I have been given a urine pot and was told to book a smear (to hand in urine sample for full bioanalysis when I come for smear appointment) unfortunately I now have to wait over 2 weeks for my cervical screen test (valentines day!) and I am going out of my mind. Has anyone else had to wait so long for testing when they have symptoms like this/what were your symptoms before testing and results? Unfortunately I keep getting told "it's probably nothing" or "you probably have wind" or "it's just a bladder infection" but sometimes you just know it's not like anything you've felt/had before.
