Scares, unwell yet normal blood work

I'm now terrified. I'm 28 and have a little boy who I'm scared I won't be there for.

I've been unwell since the start of the year. But over the past two months I've had diherea, a low grade fever that won't budge, weight loss, and sinus pain. I did also get stomach pain too.

They riled out teavellers diherea, crohns and other bowel diseases, checked my liver, kidneys, thyroids, full blood count, celiacs, all via stool and blood samples and they're all OK. They gave me antibiotics about half a week ago as they really can't tell what's wrong. Yet my temperature is still above 37 and I'm losing weight.

I had a lump in my boob that only my partner and I can find but they said it's probably hormonal. A mole that went pusy and vanished and reappeared but they checked it with a light and said it was OK. My period is on a 21 day cycle and often has a day break in between. I'm not sure if these are relevant at all.

I just keep crying for no reason too.

I'm just so scared and keep thinking it's got to be cancer.

  • Hey. I have read your reports I'm sorry your so unwell still.im wondering if you may have Endometriosis? I have this and Adenomyosis they are debilitating,  I actually.don't know what feels normal anymore. . It is a worry isn't it when you know something isn't right. I've been so unwell since Jan 2021 continued uti.. Actually scary I've never felt so unwell.. Finally I hope they have gone,  I had to go to hospital and have a procedure in my uthrea.. That was scary.. But I'm left with extreme dizziness weak fatigue.... And I can't seem to shift it.. My iron is  level 54 some say wow that's low others say no.. I've had countless blood tests and all normal.. How can I get rid of the dizziness... I'm now beginning to wonder if I have massive Anxiety... I just want to go to Hospital and get then to keep me in for 24 hours..

  • Hi all, I'm at my wits end and sometimes feel like I would be better of dead, on New Year's Eve I was rushed to hospital with severe chest pains and my heart was racing, it all turned out ok apart from I had a kidney infection then that's when it all went down hill from there, a week later I started getting the most terrible pains in my belly on the right side I couldn't eat and the result of that is almost 3 stone weight lose, I've had every scan and test and they can't really see anything wrong apart from polyps in my uterus and a slight swelling on the tube coming from my right kidney but because my bloods are coming back ok they said I have nothing wrong !! I've been kept in hospital the middle of April because I was so poorly and I had 3 doctors arguing over my bed on what they thought was the problem I was in for 6 days because they found a shadow on my left lung but then said it's nothing to worry about go home and get on with my life I just feel so so ill my heart races I have no energy I've lost my appetite again and the pain in my lower right side makes me want to die but no one wants to help me they said it could be anxiety but I've only had anxiety now because of the pain I'm only 49 and I'm heart broken because I have my family I want to see grow old, I also wish I was a millionaire so I could pay for private treatment because most doctors I've seen don't want to know I'm now convinced it's my kidney and maybe the polyps because the period I've just had was the worst one I think I've ever had in my life the blood loss was horrendous and the pain in my belly is even worse..... could it be something bad does all cancer show in your blood ? X

  • I'm very sorry that the tests that have been carried out so far haven't provided any answers Deb. I can't begin to imagine how frustrating this must be but please don't give up. I know it probably doesn't feel like it at the moment but your GP is there for you, so do be persistent and let them know the pain hasn't gone away and explain the impact this is having on you.

I know you've been feeling anxious because of everything that's going on so I'm just going to share some information that I hope will help with this but if you ever feel like things are becoming a bit too much or start to feel overwhelmed, the Samaritans are available on 116 123. • Thank you so much for replying to me, I've been up and down to the a and e so many times in so much pain I've also told my doctor how much pain I'm in, I've had 12 kidney infections in the last 14 months this really can not be normal I've just been put on phosphate sandoz but they didn't really tell me why only that I have to have another blood test in two weeks time, I've cried so many tears with the pain and the last time I was up a and e they said they can't do anything because it's not life or death but my life feels like it's on hold right now x

  • Hi Deb!

I thought i'd make an account quickly to tell you that you are not alone with these symptoms! I am a 20 year old male and i get awful abdominal/flank/kidney pains and very bad chest pains mixed with dizziness, fatigue and brain fog. My symptoms first started December 2020 and had no diagnoses since. If you haven't been referred to the hospital yet I would ask your GP if they would do it. I easily got referred as I also have blood in my urine. However, the consultants at the hospital (nephrologist & urologist) seem to be a lot better at dealing with urinary tract pains ect. I have an MRI booked for the 14th September and then a follow up the week after. My blood tests were also all completely normal with no lumps detected through a CT scan. I hope you feel a little at ease knowing you're not alone and that they get to the route of your problem as being ill for a long period of time and having no diagnosis can really have an effect on your mental health. If it has, make sure you tell your GP as they can help and are responsible for your well-being. One again, i hope you get a diagnosis soon and that you can start the road to recovery!

  • Hi what was your outcome please my symptoms are the same
