Hi Caz, how did things go with you?
Hello ladies,
"Its 2am and I can't sleep due to the dull pain! I feel like my insides are getting pulled down in the pelvic and groin area I'm not on my period."
I haven't been diagnosed yet but would like to know what is going on? Hopefully some of you can relate your symptoms to mine? It it and ovary cyst , or ovary cancer or something else such as endometriosis... etc?
I just dont know and my doctors aren't very helpful.
I'm in so much pain and dont know what to do. I have told my doctors about this but they keep brushing me off, told them my symptoms multiple times.
Which is:
Dull ache pain comes and goes left ovary sometimes switches
Back pain
Shooting pain going up and down the pelvic area
Squeezing sensation of the ovaries.
Bloatness of my tummy
Swollen pelvic area
Back pain
Tiredness -which makes me bloody moody
Dizziness
Unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. D: I want to sleep most of all at night but can't as I have to keep urinating.
Do any of you have partners also? How do you speak about this topic to them? I have an understanding partner but I can't really explain the pain!. Sex if off the topic for me at the moment. "Sigh"
Hi! First of I hope your ok!
Now my story is a wild one.. and it's not to frighten you I'm just giving you an insight on how I got to where I am.
I was pregnant with my second child back in 2017/18 and I had my 20 weeks scan to be told baby's fine but you have a little cyst on your left ovary (didn't think much tbh) I got told probably hormones, but I know that I had been backwards and forwards to the doctors that something didn't feel right for a while. Then after I had my daughter I continued getting the 'pulled down, dragging' sensations and just pains and irritations I couldn't explain. Then after intercourse one day my stomach just swelled like I was pregnant again and I was in so much agony I was curled up in a ball literally naked and then began being sick and crying with pain! The next day I went to my GP who felt my stomach and said al seems fine but I PUSHED and got an ultrasound which showed a 8 cyst on my left ovary which I was shocked but also knew something was going on inside I couldn't see.. I then had a CT and MRI which showed nothing but a 'Dermoid cyst' I then had a scheduled operation as they felt it was big enough to remove. A few days before I had another ultosound which showed it was now 10cm.. skipping on a bit, I had the op, they removed my left ovary as the 'cyst' was attached to it and ruined it. And on the 10th December I got the call to come in and I just knew.. it was a rare cancer called a yolk sac tumour and the cyst was in fact a tumour and had began to spread.. so without scaring you, I'm 28 (26 at the time of being pregnant) normal healthy person and the doctors took that into consideration more than my symptoms. Forget the CA125 blood tests they do as mine came back normal, MRI- normal CT-Normal but they forgot to do my AFP levels.. they are meant to be 10 and under for a normal person, mine were 29,000 and growing quick. I have now been cancer free for 4+ weeks and I am one of the lucky ones, 4 round of intense chemo, lost my hair. I never thought I would be on a cancer forum that's for sure! But it's good to get tips what to look out for. I hope your well and it's just something and nothing, I send you all the luck in the world and I'm sure you will be fine. But make sure you push for something if your gut is telling you and even when the results make you feel crazy because you still feel somethings wrong get everything thing you possible can done. Best wishes x (p.s I am sorry if my story is intense but I have to voice my story and the symptoms you say are what I was feeling) x
Hey Sophia hun,
Yes I'm okay thank you. Hope you are okay and well too x
And thank you so much for sharing your story! Honestly you are a true soldier as well as many of the other women here also. My ultra sound has been booked for early Aug. It was for today but I had to rechedule.
I will keep you informed of what they say. The pain had moved slighlyover to the right ovary now.but not as intense. and I have to keep peeing every now and the. Frequent urination has reduced though from last month since after the antibiotic the doctor gave.
I can't imagine for how it must of been for you. Wonder woman you are!.
I am not that mentally strong. But I will prepare myself.
Hope you are well and okay.
Take care hun xoxox
Sorry if I sound like a Debbie downer, I just try and make sure I can do everything in my power to make sure everything is thougtoughly checked.
If it wasn't for me pushing I wouldn't be we're i am now which is back on the mend, strong and a healthy mama of two! X

Hi I have lower belly pain dull and cramps my drs keep fobbing me off but came back I have a lower uti
Hi everyone!
im really worried as I think I have ovarian cancer but cannot be found. I have had left pelvic pain for over 6 months, ca125 normal, tvus normal, ct scan normal, but I feel like I need to urinate more often I'm nauseous and I'm not as hungry as before, also I have sciatic pain on and off and my left pelvic pain is there all the time, sometimes stabbing sometimes dull. My periods have started to be irregular.
I don't know what else to do, unable to get an nhs gyno appointment and everyone telling me I'm too young for ovarian cancer, I'm 35.
Can I still have ovarian cancer with normal ultrasound scan?
