Thanks so much for replying to me. I went to a private appointment and had mild grade changes.. the consultant took them away using lletz and took a biopsy. He said he could have just did biopsy and left them to see what biopsy results were or even for another 6 months but I didn't want to wait and he said if no babies planned he was as well removing them while he was doing biopsy anyway. I have two wee boys and not planning anymore so went ahead. Still feeling pretty emotional and nervous about it all. Turns out a few people I know have had it, to some more of an ordeal and to others all very calm and like it's nothing. Guess we are all different.
Hi Laura im lauren im 25. I had my first smear in June last year it came back abnormal cells and changes and hpv positive i then went and had a colposcopy and punch biopsy and the results i got from that were to get another done in 12 months and see how it is. My periods have changed the last 2 months and have been late the first time was over 2 weeks and this month it has been more than a week late. I am having pains in my lower back right side had them since start of last year i suffered a kidney infection and was on hospital for 3 days then after that ive had recurrent utis since then 3. Ive had full blood counts etc ive just got a feeling somethings more is wrong.
i am worried that something is wrong with me too, my periods are suddenly very irregular and seem to be 13-15 days apart which they never used to be! My last period lasted 10 days! And I now have pelvic aching even though I am not bleeding anymore :/ I am going to call the doctors tomorrow. I am 23, 24 in May and had a baby 15 months ago.
Hi did u have internal pain I have pain since last November I had polp removed and still stabbing internal pain had an examination done told I had lots of discharge im on my secind round of antibiotics and still same internal pain and burning young to toilet
Hi guys, caitlin you mentioned a stinging after sex, was this like a burning sensation? I have a cervical inflammation, irregular periods which are painful as heck but the most undeniable thing is the random burning after sed sometimes, its unbearable. Have you had any clarity on what this was?
Hi ladies I'm a cervical cancer survivor stage 2b. I had clear smear tests and hpv negative so all my symptoms I was fobbed off as peri menopause (I was 41) I had smelly runny discharge which was always stained apart from that nothing. Every test came back clear including internal scans (which I later found out don't look at cervix) in the end my gp after my insistence looked at my cervix and saw something wrong yet she had done a smear 4 months earlier and my cervix was deemed healthy, mri eventually revealed 5cm tumour. Aggressive chemo and radiotherapy later and I got all clear 25/20/2020. Any questions feel free to ask x
