Lump on head and signs of tumour am I going mad :(

I hope someone can help, I found a lump on my head like one really can't move it, went dr they said it's nothing started getting headaches day after drs and then like pressure behind eyes,my ears sometimes feel like your on a plane, went back to drs they said its anxiety and lump is superficial and nothing and to stop stressing, day after this appointment I had tingles in my left arm (which has gone now) and nausea !! Went back to dr he sent me hospital they checked me over and said it is anxiety and stress worrying about the lump, she said she don't know what lump is but it's not a tumour and a unnecessary to have a scan, so I did actually feel better after arm stopped tingling but then headaches changed from back of neck to between eyes!! And I just feel I am falling apart 10 days of headaches that only sometimes go with painkillers and this feeling behind my eyes, but they all say anxiety can it be just that?? I hope so the fear of it being a tumour is scary, I hope someone can help and put my mind at rest I just want these headaches to go!!

  • I've been feeling the exact same it's horrific I feel like I'm literallt dieing everyday with headaches and same pain on the side of my head I have a little lump that hurts to much to touch and sends me dizzy and sick

  • Exact same symptoms. Dr said its sabeasicous cyst but doesn't explain pressure headaches and ears etc as you've said and tender scalp. They have said sinus infections too.

I'm going to pay for an MRI, I know I'm a natural worrier I say I'm hypochondriac to my family but I might just be but I won't be happy until I know for sure. Especially reading horror stories of missed diagnosed illnesses, since I had my son I worry so much i'll be gone and he won't understand why.

    Did you find out anything?

  • Goodness this sounds so familiar. I have a ridge and bumps on my head. Noticing pains in my head.

I'm getting so many mixed messages. One GP (telephone consultation) said he'd never seen anything like I was describing. When I got to see another GP in the surgery, he said I probably was born with it and maybe my hair was thinning.

At xray, technician said she could see something, but it would go to the radiologist.

I'm so worried now. Have noticed more symptoms which I wonder if I've been overlooking, thinking they were part of my arthritis in my neck. So rang to speak to a Gp. Got fobbed off again "if you arent having an epileptic fit, it's unlikely to be a tumour."

    Arrgggg.

  • Hey. I have the same exact symptoms as you, Including tender scalp!!

Did you do the MRI and find anything??

  • No it is apparently clear but the pressure headaches continue. Getting harder to carry on as normal day to day. Concentrating is next to impossible when they flare up.
