Anyone got urgent referral to gynaecologyst and turned out not cancer?

 I just received one a couple days ago as my GP saw a growth from my cervical os and bleeding when touched. My symptomps were bleeding after sex in the past 2 months and, since the start of my period in September, I still have spotting everyday even though the GP has given me medroxyprogesterone, but it didnt stop the bleeding/spotting; it does make the bleeding into light spotting and less often. 

My gynae appointment is tomorrow and I am really scared I would be diagnosed with cancer.
