I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns and changes to your bowel movements and that, following a FIT test, you've been referred for further investigations. We know that for many people, this period of waiting for tests and results can be difficult and often people turn to the internet in search of answers. As you've found out, what then often happens is that people are left feeling even more anxious and fearing a worst-case scenario. 

Try to remember that there can be many reasons for a raised FIT result other than cancer. Hopefully, when you have your colonoscopy on Tuesday, the team will be able to give you some reassurance at that appointment.
