Itchy breast and nipple, pain in breast

Hi guys, I’m stressing so so bad as I’ve had an itchy breast and nipple for around 2 months now. I’m 29 and a mother to a 4 year old girl and I can’t stop thinking the worst. I do have health anxiety so I know I may be overreacting. I have had a feel of my breasts and the problem one does have what I think is a lump but I can’t tell too much as it’s quite deep in the breast. My breasts have always naturally been quite lumpy as well and I’m embarrassed to admit, but I have never really checked my breasts, only just started and felt that lump, so not sure how long it’s actually been there. I have an appointment with my GP on Friday and I really am hoping for the best!! My breast also does have random pains in it as well.

    Hello guys, I’m feeling very very stressed and would love to talk to people who have been through similar :( I keep feeling the lump and it’s definitely there

    I'm really sorry for how much stress this is causing Kitkit22. It's never nice to be in this position, even more so when you have health anxiety to contend with as well, but you've done the right thing by booking an appointment with your GP as they will be able to check you over and provide you with those much needed answers and peace of mind you're seeking at this time.

    Hopefully some of our members who have been in this position will offer their thoughts and advice to you soon but in the meantime, try to distract yourself if you can and take your mind off this for a little bit. Easier said than done, I know, but if you are able to keep busy it will really help and Friday will be here before you know it.

    I'm not sure if you came across this guide we have on how to cope with waiting for news, but I really hope some of the tips and advice we have in there will help to steady your nerves, and your mind, until you know more.
