Left supraclavicular fossa lymphadenopathy

Hi all,

40yr old woman

Wasn't going compost anything but looking for some support!

Notice a small pea sized lump 7 weeks ago by my collarbone, didn't think to much of it as was feeling run down but I have 3 kids, work full time and perimenopausal.

Left it as just one of those things and as it was mobile I couldn't always feel it so thought I was going crazy.

Anyway moving on a couple of weeks I wake up one day with a extreme headache and chronic fatigue to the point I could not get out of bed, decisive to stay of work and sleep, it did not subside.

I tried to carry on working the following week but did not get any relief.

Buly this point I notice the lump still there and I had noticed sloght weight loss. Constipation/diarrhea and decide i must me coming down with something so booked a drs app.

Anyway gp does a few things not UTI as clear. So thinks possible diverticulitis. Double antibiotics.

7 days later lymph nodes stolen enlarged and still unwell so go back.

Dr notices pain on right side when palpitated so decides urgent referral to hospital suspects appendicitis.

Hospital do another uti test and full bloods and ct. All clear ruled out diverticulitis and it being bacterial.

Back to GP.

At this point the node had been enlarged 3-4 weeks.

GP decides on rest for the week and see how I feel.

Another week on 4-5 weeks of fatigue, weight loss and left lymphadenopathy of supra clav node and back to GP as I am feeling rotten.

GP decides to do a virology test and because of erratic bowel habits a FIT stool test.

Wait a week.

5-6 weeks and all symptoms still there and test back all clear.

6-7 week, go back to GP for followup appointment supraclavicular node seems less mobile although still moves and now size of a small marble but rubbery textured. And notice small hard node behind left ear.

Symptoms:

Painless Left supraclavicular node enlarged and mobile 7 weeks

Fatigue 8 weeks or longer

Weight loss slow but not tying

Erratic bowel movements

Righg side tummy pain.

Small less than a half a pea node behind left ear pain less

Dr said doesn't suspect cancer but done a cancer referral to head and neck.

Also done a repeat bloods to check again and b12, iron and thyroid.

Just looking for reassurance now this has been discussed.
