Feeling lost! Been living with heavy periods for 5/6 years. Scan recently showed 30mm lining and I've been sent for an urgent hysteroscopy. I'm so exhausted

I'll try to keep this as short as I can.

I started suffering heavy periods maybe around 5/6 years ago, completely out of the blue as I had had the coil in for 3 years at this point. After 9 months of the bleeding getting heavier every month I lost the coil in a very large clot! I had a scan and then went in to have fibroids removed, was told they couldn't get them all, and have another coil fitted.

After 2 weeks of extremely heavy bleeding after the op I lost the second coil. I was then put on northisterone to help with the bleeding. Although this helped it didn't stop the bleeding and after 9 months of constant bleeding I ended up having a blood transfusion. They then changed my medication to progesterone which for the most part has worked. I've just had the odd extremely heavy bleed which I have had tranexamic acid for. I've kinda just been left the last 4 years living like that.

Since June I have had 2 really bad heavy bleeds which are close together. Tranexamic acid worked for the bleed in June but hasn't touched it on this bleed, I'm currently on day 25 of bleeding. I ended up in the hospital and I'm now anaemic again, not surprising. I had a scan which showed my lining was just over 30mm thick so was sent for an urgent hysteroscopy. A week later I had that done. They told me they have removed some growths that they don't know what they are and I had the endometrial biopsy done.

Now it's the waiting game! I'm trying so hard to stay positive but the waiting is so draining and I'm already exhausted from the bleeding and ive only been waiting for just under a week. I'm 43.
