Ibc or infection any advice welcome

Hello.

i started with a hot swollen left boob which has started leaking a dark brown liquid which over days has tuned light like brown reddish colour. When wearing my bra it feels supported even though sore and achy. If it gets knocked it is painful.  I am in my 50s haven't breast fed for 21 years. I had a full hysterectomy two years ago. I am not on any hormone drugs due to breast cancer 15 years ago in the other boob. I am hr2 positive.
can anyone give me some advice please.
I have been to the doctors she has put me on antibiotics. Just waiting too see how u get on with them to rule out infection. 

any advice is welcome

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns about your breast health. It's understandable that you might be feeling anxious especially having previously been diagnosed with breast cancer. 

    It's good to know that you've already been to see your GP and that they are trialling some antibiotics in the first instance to see if this may be an infection. Don't be afraid to get back in touch with your GP surgery if things don't improve or you are at all concerned. You can ask for a referral to the breast clinic again and I'm sure that the specialists will be happy to see you and offer any reassurance they can about these new symptoms. 

    In the meantime, if it would hel pto chat things through with one of our team of nurses you're most welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.
