How did you get on ? 

Thank you so much for replying.  Unfortunately they confirmed it is breast cancer.  I have to have another biopsy of another suspicious area then wait for those results before I can see the surgeon....it all feels totally surreal....

Hi Willow, I'm sorry to hear this. I am awaiting results of my biopsy. I also had what they called 'calcifications'. I hope you have good support around you.

I am so sorry to hear that you got a cancer diagnosis. Having to wait for another biopsy is always frustrating, but it's important to know exactly what you are dealing with, before your treatment can be decided on. Do you know what type or stage your cancer is?

It can all seem surreal to start with, but you will gradually come to accept your diagnosis. I hope that it doesn't take too long to get your results and then you can start to fight this.

Have you got a date for another biopsy yet?  It should all get a little easier to cope with once you know exactly what you are sealing with. However, we've got to take the positives from what you've already been told and that is that it has been caught early, which should make it easier to treat.
