Has anyone else had to wait four weeks for an urgent breast cancer referral and still not got a date ?

They found my lump in my breast on the 14th of July on a CT scan whilst they were looking at something else . The urgent referral wasn’t made until the 5th of August and tomorrow is September and I’m still awaiting a referral! It’s a very worrying time and I just want answers anyone else been through this?

    I have a 2week referral and will be having pictures of my leg lesion taken 2 days after the two weeks are up. Then hopefully see someone in dermatology. Are you on the NHS app to confirm your 2week referral was done? Either way get in the phone and follow up your doctors don’t just wait. Good luck let me know how you get on. Take care

    Hello. Sorry you’re going through this horrid journey too! I really appreciate the reply. Yes have chased and it has been done just get told there working on certain dates currently and someone will call. I will chase again tomorrow. Just feel like a nuisance. I hope you see dermatology real soon. Thinking of you hope and let me know how you get on please .
