Hi,
im 28 years old and last week i collapsed in pain, went to A&E was put on a gatu ward and sent for ultrasound. They found that i had a ruptured cyst (seemed to had being small) but also found an 8cm cyst I was sent for mri a few days later as my ca-125 was over 35 was told “slightly elevated” but unsure exact number. they have referred me to 2ww to have it surgically removed. On my discharge letter they put “most likely benign at least borderline multiloculated left ovarian cysts on MRI pelvis” the doctor said they won’t know for sure until the cyst is removed and tested anyway. But has anyone else had this diagnosis from tests and it has been benign?
I've become an anxious mess, unfortunately my maternal grandmother had ovarian cancer at 35. I became a mum last year and its just rocked me, I’m struggling to sleep and eat. I Would like to hear others experience to help calm nerves but also if you did had a cancer diagnosis with similar history and mri diagnosis Im open to hear that too.
thank you!
