Stomach mass encroaching on pancreas, liver & bowel - mum's having an endoscopy tomorrow to investigate. Does this sound bad?

My mum ,69, is due to have an endoscopy tomorrow to investigate a 10cm mass found on her stomach. This was found by a CT scan.the consultant says the mass is encroaching on her pancreas, liver and upper bowel.

Her symptoms started 5 months ago. Feeling of fullness and discomfort on her right side under her ribs. Her bloods were taken 2 months ago at the start of the referral journey. Her bloods came back fine. She also gets pain in her back.

Does this definitely sound bad or could it be some something else.
