I had a tongue biopsy over two weeks ago and have still got some pain and swelling. It’s not getting worse but doesn’t seem to be getting better. Is this normal?
I am not sure whether this is still to be expected 2 weeks after your tongue biopsy and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing some pain swelling still and that it isn't getting better yet. I think it might be worth contacting your specialist or the oral surgery department where you had the biopsy and asking them whether this is to be expected and whether they have any tips to accelerate healing as I can imagine this has been uncomfortable for you.
