Lump in breast plus irregular bleeding

I had a GP apt this morning as I found a lump in my left breast. I'm 38 and have 3 children (youngest is 12)

I've also been getting irregular bleeding, random spotting, bleeding and pain after sex, night sweats, lost weight without trying too hard, sudden back pain. My periods are only lasting 2-3 days versus my usual 4-5 and they are... Strange. 

Could this all be connected or am I overthinking?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat.

    It's good to hear you've been to see the GP about this. It's very difficult for us to advise on the symptoms and really only your doctor can do this - sometimes after further tests. I'm not sure if you've been referred for any tests yet, or whether the doctor was able to provide some information to you about this.

    Do keep in touch with them if you're unsure of next steps or have any more questions or concerns.

    In the meantime, if others here have similar experience to share then hopefully you'll get more replies.
