I wanted to wish you the best of luck for your appointment. There is information on our website on the FIT test and it's important to remember that an elevated FIT test result is not necessarily indicative of cancer as there are so many other benign conditions which can cause this rise and as you have a known history of polyps which have been removed it's important to check things thoroughly and to go through the necessary investigations. 

I am not sure exactly what will happen during this first consultation appointment but this consultation will be an opportunity to discuss your results in light also of your past medical history of polyp removal and also to determine what the next steps might be.
