Lymphoma symptoms

Hi

so I’ve had a lump in my neck for 4 weeks and it’s not gone away. I also have had a fever on and off - but everyday for 3 weeks and I’ve lost 12kg. I also am so tired that I will fall asleep mid conversation or be sat on my phone and the next minute I’m fast asleep. The gp did blood tests and said nothing really came back other than being anaemic which I have been for 12 months and one of my liver tests were raised and my inflammation marker was raised but they weren’t worried about this.
they’ve spoken to haematology about some advice on whether to refer me but I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

ive been seen 3 times by gp who says they can feel lump but are sure its a viral infection. Even though my fever has persisted for 3 weeks and other symptoms too.

  • Hello lozzyk496

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing health concerns over the last few weeks. It's understandable that you might be feeling anxious.

It's good to know that you've already seen your GP and that there weren't any immediate concerns raised by your initial blood tests. Hopefully, the GP will hear back soon regarding a possible referral to the haematology specialists, but if not, then do keep in touch with your GP, who can monitor things and arrange any other tests or referral that might be appropriate.

If you think it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're most welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I do hope that you get some answers and reassurance soon and that things begin to improve for you.

    Best wishes,
