Hi Jenna I'm sorry to hear you are so worried about your partners symptoms ,I was exactly the same when I had many symptoms including weight loss and a positive Fit test from the GP ,I was asked to do a Colonoscopy which scared the life out of me , it all happened rather quickly which was good rather than thinking for too long ,after taking the prep before hand which the worst part for me ,I had the sedation for the Colonoscopy ,the whole process went really well with the nurses always putting you at ease ,they usually telly you the results on the day which in my case was good news they said they couldn't see anything worrying but did say I had Diverticulitis and internal piles which is why I was having the bleeding on the fit test ,they are really just ruling out cancer which is a good thing and its always better to get checked ,its much more likely to be something far less sinister than cancer so try not to worry ,there is always someone on here to talk to if you have any worries or questions ,just ask , Jenny x
