Welcome to the forum AdeMot, although I'm sorry to hear what's happened since you started using Tolak.
Most medications should come with instructions that include guidance on what to do if you are experiencing certain side effects but if you no longer have access to them, do try getting in touch with your GP or speaking to a pharmacist when you can as they will be best placed to advise. If neither of these options are available to you, you could try calling the NHS on 111 for further support and advice.
I hope some of our members will offer their thoughts and advice to you as well but in the meantime I'm sending you all my support and hope that you're able to get some answers soon.
Kind regards,

Hi AdeMode,
A very warm welcome to the forum.
I have just looked at the patient information leaflet for Tolak online
It says
It looks like you should stop using this when the skin is broken and contact your GP for advice or an alternative prepaation.
Please stay in contact and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Ademot
Tolak contains fluorouracil I have used a similar cream Effudix many times. From your description Id say the cream has done its work and it is time to stop. Check with your doctor. The latest advice from our dermatology department is to stop after 10 days of strong reaction irritation redness and inflammation .This is usually around 3- 4 weeks after starting using the cream. I was advised to use an over the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream to help reduce the inflammation on cessation. This really helps cool down the skin over a few days. Hope this is of help.
