Lump in the top right of my stomach

I've noticed it a lot lately would say it's the size of 50p coin, sometimes it's uncomfortable not painful but it seems to be there a lot more I'm quite slim and I'm 50 years old but I've noticed that my midriff area and where the lump is that I seem so bloated and that's just come on to I don't understand how my stomach area just seems to be getting bigger no where else I'm all so on a lot of medications but have been for a few years no different or new ones

  • Hi Tina and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.

I'm sorry to hear about the lump you've noticed in the top right side of your stomach and for the worry this is causing.

If this doesn't improve, or gets worse, then don't hesitate to book an appointment with your GP as they will be able to examine you and let you know if this is any cause for concern. It's always good to get any persistent or unusual symptoms checked out, if only for peace of mind.

Hopefully some of our members who have contended with something similar will stop by soon to offer their support and advice but in the meantime we'll be thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed everything will be o.k.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
