Hard Lymph node in neck

Hi everyone just after some advice/reassurance really.

I felt a hard lymph node in my neck about 2 or 3 months ago and visited the doctor, she barely felt my neck and said there wasn't much to feel and just sent me for bloods. I felt really dismissed she didn't really ask for any other symptoms apart from that I was feeling a bit tired. Bloods came back fine, I assume as I heard nothing further! But this lymph node is still bothering me. It hasn't grown but it rock hard and cant be moved. 

I suffer with quite bad health anxiety anyway so feel like the doctors probably roll their eyes when they see an econsult from me but I just cant get it out of my head that this is something like lymphoma! 

Don't really know what I'm hoping for from posting this but does anyone have any good news from a rock hard lymph node as when I Google it it's pretty much set in stone that its something awful!!

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing concerns about a hard lymph node in your neck and that despite seeing the GP a few months ago, you're still feeling anxious. 

    We know that many people turn to the internet when they have health concerns. What happens most often is they are left feeling even more worried and still with no firm answers so please try to avoid using goolge to search for answers if you can. 

    You are very welcome to give our nurses a call to talk through your concerns if you think it may help. The're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, on 0808 800 4040. I would also suggest htat you make another appointment to see a GP and talk through your concerns about this node and also ask for advice and support about how you can manage your health anxiety.
