Is this bad news? They asked me to come in face to face tomorrow for the biopsy results. I am panicking now

Hello, 

I had an unexpected biopsy last Tuesday (19th May) after being referred to breast clinic for discharge from my nipple. They gave me a phone appointment for this Friday (29th May) and told me they weren't worried so I could have the results over the phone. They've rang me after their MDT today (Wed 27th May) and asked me to come in face to face tomorrow for the results. I am panicking now. Has anyone had their tel appointment converted to a face to face and had good news (I.e not cancer)?

    Hello Heavymetalcircles, 

    It's normal to be worried after they told you that you have a face to face appointment tomorrow when you were expecting a phone conversation but I wouldn't necessarily read anything into it. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your appointment tomorrow.

    I will be keeping everything crossed for you and let us know if you get a moment what you find out!

    It's an indeterminate finding. A papillary lesion I think they said. They grade them B1 - B5 with B1 being absolutely nothing and B5 being cancer. Mine's B3, because I apparently have to be difficult. I have to have surgery to remove the ducts in around 6 weeks. She said they could just take the duct with debris but I said if they're in there take the lot so I never have to do this again.

    It's not great. I've never had surgery before but it's better than it could have been so I'm thankful for that.
