Hello, I’m 50 and my last period was 12 months ago. Last week I had a period for 5 days. It was fresh red blood, medium flow. I was very bloated before. I’m on HRT and I last had a pelvic trans vaginal scan in February which confirmed my ovaries are shrivelled and I’m no longer firing eggs. Scan was fine. I’m overseas currently and the GP here has said there’s no need for a scan because 1) I’m “only” 50, 2) I’m on HRT (apparently more likely to have post meno bleed) and 3) my scan in February was okay. But I’m worried. Please can anyone advise if they’ve been my age and it was diagnosed as cancer? Thank you.
