Breast dimple? Normal or not? Anyone else?

Hi all, I am 37 year old with 2 beautiful girls aged 15 and 7. My breasts have always been fine and fairly pert so to speak. I have felt what I feel is a bit of “thickened” tissue on the upper right boob. I now have what can only be described as a dimple there, like a dimple you have on your face/cheeks. I know this is probably nothing but a small amount of doubt is creeping in.

I went to the GP and they have referred me to the breast clinic but they are slammed with referrals and I have mine in 2.5 weeks.

anyone experienced similar? Thank you in advance ️

  • Hi Sophbrx, yes any changes in the appearance of your breasts or how they feel, get it checked out for sure. I have family hx of breast cancer and too many early deaths due to breast cancer in my family and I had itching, a rash on my nipple and a lump in my armpit was seen in 2 weeks so I would say 2.5 weeks is pretty standard. Turned out to be cancer in my case, but the overwhelming majority of tests come back negative so dont worry too much. I know it is easier said than done :) Hugs and well wishes xx

  • Thank you so much for the response. I am so sorry to hear that. Are you doing ok? Xx
