Just lost my Mum to lung cancer and now waiting to see if I have bowel cancer.

I am currently waiting to find out if I have bowel cancer.  I find out next week.  I have just lost my mum to lung cancer. I am trying to stay in the here and now but my mind wanders and thoughts come in. I'm finding it hard to understand it all. Life seems unfair.

    You must be contending with so many thoughts and emotions right now but I want to reassure you that we are here for you and will do all we can to support you. 

    So many of our members know how tough this wait can be, so I'm sure you will receive some support and advice from them soon but in the meantime, I hope this guide we have on how to cope with waiting for news will help to calm your mind when you find it starting to wander.
