I'm sorry to hear you had a high CA125 result and have now been referred for an ultrasound. I know how worrying this must be, but I hope it helps to know that a raised CA125 level can be high for many reasons such as being on your period, ovarian cysts and/or endometriosis. More information about the CA125 blood test can be found on the Target Ovarian Cancer website.

This doesn't take the fear away, I know, but lots of our members have gone through this too so you are not alone, and hopefully some of them will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice.

We also have a team of cancer nurses available on 0808 800 4040. Their helpline is open Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) between 9a.m - 5p.m so do give them a call if it would help to talk things through.
