Confused after seeing gynaecology specialist

Went to doctors as had a small lump that was a bit sore on my inner labia. Doctor said they suspect it is just a cyst but referred me to gyn as a precaution and due to my history. (Vulver cyst removal over 20 years ago, Bartholdi cyst removal about 20 years ago and then Bartholins gland total removal on same side)

I was amazed as about ten days later I was being examined by consultant. He didn’t say a lot, said he would not need to do an internal exam, but then changed his mind after ‘taking a look’. He confirmed that the item on my inner labia is probably just a cyst that will resolve itself and there is a lot of gland there. He mentioned my ovaries and asked a couple of questions. (I have already had a hysterectomy due to extensive adynomyosis but kept ovaries) Then he said he was sending me to have Ca125 blood tests and he will also arrange a scan on my right ovary (he did not feel any of the left side). This felt a bit out of left field and I will be honest just thought I would be told I had a cyst and be on my way so didn’t ask any questions. Anyone else gone for one thing and left worrying about another?
also how long did it take people to get their results and appointment through. My original was a Saturday clinic.
