hope everyone is ok. Just seeing if anyone has had something similar to what I’m dealing with at the moment

basically at the start of January I noticed a lump in my right armpit aswell as some breast changes in my right breast. Thinking it was to do with my monthly cycle I left it and just waited to see what happened. I always check my breasts as my mum and my auntie (my mums sister) have both had breast cancer in the past so I know what’s normal and what’s not. Fast forward a few weeks and the lump was still there and my breast started feeling tight and heavy and looks different to my other one in size. It feels hot to touch and my nipple has been so itchy with lots of spots around it. Also been experiencing shooting pains in the breast and neck pain.

I went to my GP who examined me and sent me straight for a referral to the breast clinic. My appointment was today so I was examined again by the doctor at the hospital who sent me for an ultrasound straight away. In the ultrasound there was no mention of anything in my breast but the radiologist said she wanted to do a ultrasound guided biopsy on the lymph node in my armpit as I actually have 5 raised lymph nodes not just the one. She she took 3 samples from my armpit and I’ve not got to wait 2-3 weeks for results: I’m guessing with my family history this is why I’ve had both of these done today. I really don’t know what it could be. I haven’t been given any medication in case of a possible infection so that makes me concerned they think it’s something more sinister. Just after abit of a chat with anyone who has been through something like this
