Around 6 weeks ago I went to the gp with the following symptoms: fatigue, change in bowel habits, some bloating and just generally not feeling great. He requested bloods and the only one that came back abnormal was ca125 at 55. He also carried out a DRE in which he felt a lump. Due to this he made two 2ww urgent referrals. One to gynae and one to colorectal team. I had an ultrasound which was clear and a colonoscopy which was clear. Restated my ca125 after a month and it is still raised but has drops slightly. Over the past month my stomach has tripled in size and is hard. I look pregnant. I have daily pain in my pelvis (not agony but a deep ache as well as really bad lower back pain. This has all just worsened over the last month to the point I can barely pick up my 3 year old son. I ended up at the drs on Friday and he felt my stomach and said he wasn’t happy with the bloating and called gynae there and then who then requested a CT scan. The bloating doesn’t fluctuate at all and is there from the minute I wake up - not affected food. I’ve tried cutting out bread etc to see if that makes a difference but still the same. I know that for me this bloating is not normal. Along with the back pain and pelvic pain worsening over the last month I’m a bit concerned. I’m a 35 year only woman with one child. Has anyone had similar experience with symptoms suddenly becoming increasingly worse but clear ultrasound?
thanks so much in advance!
