I’m 43 and post menopausal. I had some bleeding in November and went straight to the doctor who referred me for an ultrasound, which I had on 30th Dec.

I was told I would receive my results in 7-10 days but despite chasing the GP multiple times I didn’t receive any results until a couple of weeks ago when I chased by email and they confirmed the results were normal and would appear on the NHS app shortly.

They’ve never appeared and today I received an email saying a telephone appointment had been booked for Weds to review my scan results! I’m now worrying that there’s something wrong and the doctors have had my results all this time but they haven’t been reviewed. 

Why would they book a telephone appointment if all is normal?
